Deep Rest: A Summer Solstice Workshop

  • Circle Yoga 3838 Northampton Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20015 United States (map)

At the threshold of summer, when the days are long and the world begins to move more brightly outward, this workshop offers a place to pause.

I invite you to join me for a three-hour journey into deep rest through yin yoga, restorative yoga, yoga nidra, and sound healing. These quiet, nourishing practices offer space to soften the body, steady the breath, and release some of the habitual tension that can gather beneath the surface of everyday life.

Rather than asking you to do more, this workshop invites you to receive more: more stillness, more spaciousness, more permission to rest. Through gentle movement, supported postures, guided meditation, and the healing resonance of sound, you will be invited to reconnect with the peace, ease, and quiet joy already present within you.

My hope is that you will leave feeling grounded, restored, and better able to meet the fullness of summer with steadiness and care.

No yoga or meditation experience is required. Props will be provided for those attending in person. Please wear comfortable, non-binding clothing, and feel free to bring anything that will help you feel especially supported.
